BCS Tools 3.31- New version of the all-in-one development platform

We are proud to present the new BCS Tools version 3.31, the CODESYS-based software platform for IEC 61131-3 compliant project engineering of all controllers and PLCs in our product range.

BCS Tools 

Based on market leading CODESYS 3.5 software, the development platform combines classic programming of controller applications with the capabilities of professional software development for automation devices in the environment of IIOT and Industry 4.0.

New features in BCS Tools 3.31 include:

  • New target GL-9971 (PIO).
  • OPC UA for GN-937x (PIO).
  • ‘Declarations > Add all instance paths’ command for PersistentVars.
  • Confirmation dialog for force variables command (F7).
  • Confirmation dialog for write variables command (Ctrl + F7).
  • ‘Connected Clients’ counter in the status bar (requires compatible firmware).
  • Support to System Events.
  • Support to reStructuredText documentation for libraries.
  • Application tab on target device.
  • ‘Scan for Devices’ feature for all Beijer devices.
  • ‘Disable Device’ command present in the Devices tab.
  • Added the default configuration ‘Auto-reconnect’ on the Modbus TCP Master device for GN-9372 and GL-9971.
  • And a number of further enhancements.
