Problem:
We have a monitor that consistently won't turn on after being turned off for a while.

It seems to be freezing, it stops at the boot screen and doesn't respond to the keyboard or anything. It always turns on if I unplug it for a few seconds.

Solution:

This behaviour has been observed when faulty USB devices is used. Try Unplugging all usb devices prior to start, to verify. If problem disapear now, replace connected usb devices

You can update the SSD firmware and OS image using the following procedure.

Procedure to Update the Firmware:

To perform the firmware update on SSD, the system must be booted from an alternative drive (e.g., USB Win2Go). Detailed instructions for updating the firmware are attached to this email for your convenience.

You can download the SSD Firmware tool and SSD Widget using the following link and save them on the Win2Go USB.

Procedure to Create a WIN2GO:

Below is a detailed guide on how to create a Windows to Go (Win2Go) USB drive using a Windows ISO image. This will allow you to run Windows from a portable USB drive.

You can download the Win 10 ISO image using the following link:

Requirements:

A Windows ISO file
A USB drive (better performance)
A Windows to Go creation tool, such as: Rufus

Method :

Download Rufus:

Visit the official website: https://rufus.ie and download Rufus.

Insert the USB Drive:

Connect your USB drive.

Run Rufus:

Open Rufus as an administrator.

Select USB Device:

Under "Device," choose your connected USB drive.

Choose the Windows ISO:

Click "SELECT" and browse for the Windows ISO file.

Configure Partition Scheme & File System:

Select GPT.
Choose NTFS as the file system.

Enable Windows to Go Mode:

Under "Image Option," select "Windows to Go" instead of "Standard Windows Installation."

Start Installation:

Click Start and allow Rufus to format and install Windows onto the USB drive.
The process may take 10–30 minutes.

Boot from the USB Drive:

Connect the USB with the NIN PPC and restart PPC and press F11 to select the boot option.
Complete the Windows installation on the USB

After the installation is completed, you can copy the SSD widget application and SSD FW tool to the OS on the USB and perform the FW update.
